Kevin Brenner is a faculty member in the Materials Science and Engineering (MSE) Department at The University of Texas at Dallas. He is also an affiliated faculty member in Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) Department. He received his B.S., M.S. and Ph.D. in ECE from the Georgia Institute of Technology and was an Intelligence Community Postdoctoral Fellow at Stanford University. Google Scholar
Jesus Alejandro (Alex) Avendano Bolivar is pursuing his Ph.D. in ECE. His research investigates thermal and acoustic properties of two-dimensional materials and their interfaces using computational methods. He was awarded the Scholarship for Graduate Studies from Consejo Nacional De Ciencias y Tecnologias in Mexico. Google Scholar
Chaman Muhidal Islam is pursuing his Ph.D. in MSE. His research investigates the effects of strain on two-dimensional (2D) materials, 2D-metal interfaces with metals, and 2D electron devices. Google Scholar
Nargol Jalali is pursuing her Ph.D. in MSE. Her research investigates the thermal properties of novel materials (two-dimensional, high-entropy) and their interfaces using Raman thermometry. Google Scholar
Raphael Nam is pursuing his Ph.D. in MSE. His research investigates the fabrication and performance of extremely scaled oxide transistors.
We are always looking for bright and curious researches at all levels (undergraduate, graduate Ph.D., postdoc). If you are interested in our research, please contact kevin.brenner@utdallas.edu.
